Private plans described here are medically underwritten and are not ACA-qualifying health plans. They may not cover essential health benefits in the way a Marketplace plan does, and enrolment in them may not satisfy requirements that apply in certain states.

Every dollar figure shown on this site — including the $750 and $300 monthly premiums used in the comparison, the savings callout and the estimator — is a general comparison, not a rate offer. Actual premiums, deductibles, out-of-pocket maximums, networks and eligibility depend on your age, location, health history and the plan selected.

No figure on this site is a price offer, and this site does not calculate a personal rate. Only a licensed advisor, together with the issuing carrier, can confirm what you would actually pay.

The content here is general information, not insurance, tax, legal or medical advice about your situation. Approval for a medically underwritten plan is never guaranteed, and a carrier may decline an application based on health history.

If you qualify for Medicaid, a substantial premium tax credit on the Marketplace, or coverage through an employer, that option will usually be better value than anything described here, and a licensed advisor should tell you so.
